Components are the basic elements of a Workshop building structure are the foundation.

To reach solutions for improving the reliability, maintenance, repair and useful life of materials and components for DMT/DME/DMC Mining it is necessary to gain knowledge of the internal structure of those materials.

With components, Scientists at the DEFI Mining investigate the reactions of materials and components to mechanical, thermal, chemo-mechanical and tribological loading and clarify their deformation and failure mechanisms.

Component testing takes into account Defi Mining Network varying material properties. Additionally, fracture mechanics evaluations and damage analyses are performed.

A component is a constituent part of a Workshop IT which is manufactured as an independent unit, subsystem or subassembly, that can be joined or blended with other elements to form a more complex Workshop services.

Components are ‘self-contained’ and sourced from a single supplier. Each component has a specific assembly of building materials, with specific properties and performances.

It may be pre-fabricated or erected on Neftyblocks at one time or, in the case of upgrade, over many years.

A combination of components may be described as an ‘assembly’.
