🪛Build a Mining Rig

A rig is a hardware which is responsible for adding new coins into the existing circulating DMT supply. It is a key process that allows DMT to be minted through the DEFI Mining protocol.

Here is an overview of mining rigs to be built we will build a GPU mining rig running on DEFI Mining protocol. However, this tutorial can not be used with any another operating protocols.

When comparing GPU graphics cards, the main difference is in the chips at the core. Each is compatible with a host of different algorithms. It is recommended to use the same GPU type in a DEFI Mining rig because one requires high expertise for cards to be installed correctly.

The rig must have the same graphics cards. You can start mining DMT as soon as 1x GPU is active.

You will need several computer components, peripherals, and a WAX compatible wallet to collect the DMT tokens. A list of GPUs is also included here.

The whole process can be completed within 10 min if everything goes correctly.

The creation of the rig is created using the smelt room.

Each rig can be upgraded 5 times with a graphic card of the same type (level 1 to 6). GPUs are the most crucial part of the whole mining rig setup as it’s the component that generates the rewards.
